Shree Krishna Paper Mills & Industries has informed the BSE that according to the audited balance sheet as on March 31, 2014, the accumulated losses of the company were higher than its net worth. Accordingly, the company had filed the necessary reference with the Board for Industrial & Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) under the Sick Industrial Companies (Special Provisions) Act, 1985. Shares of Shree Krishna Paper Mills climbed 1.93 per cent at ₹8.46 on the BSE.
